MERMAID’S WORK
Scenario proudly releases Fiona Howe’s début singer-songwriter album MERMAID’S WORK on 16th January 2016. The digital album is available to pre-order now on Fiona’s Bandcamp page, with a CD version to follow shortly.

The idea for eight songs exploring the connection between the female psyche and the sea developed alongside Fiona’s film composition work, the earliest of them inspired by the beautiful Ceredigion coastline where DELIGHT was shot.
Wanting an intimate, chamber sound, Fiona recorded the piano parts on a lovely Steinway B in deepest West London while the script of DELIRIUM was in preparation, working on the studio sessions with two friends, international string virtuosi Alisa Liubarskaya (cello) and Camilla Gregorovitch (violin) who then went on to star in DELIRIUM. The mix and mastering process took place while Fiona was scoring and pre-recording the nine Requiem pieces for DELIRIUM, currently in post-production and due for completion February 2016.
